The Wine Alley opened on April 29, 2005. Owned and operated by Scott & Allison Helfen, the wine store has been a dream for many years and has finally come to fruition.  We are residents of Woodside, a Fairwood neighborhood and are thrilled to be a part of the growing Fairwood Area.

Allison Helfen grew up in Snohomish and graduated from Washington State University with a Hotel / Restaurant Admin degree. She has been in the hotel industry for the past 20 years. Scott Helfen grew up in Highland, Indiana and graduated from Purdue University with a Computer Programming degree.

Being the wine lovers that we are, living in such a great state that produces some of the world's best wine, we decided to share those wines with our neighbors.  Washington and Oregon are two of the fastest growing wine regions in the country, with over 500 wineries. We are excited to bring the unique, hard to find, exciting and new wines to the area.

And if you have noticed, we have two wonderful golden retrievers, Maggie & Mac , who are our store mascots.

The Wine Alley is a fine wine & beer shop located in the Fairwood Shopping Center in Renton, WA. 

Whether you are new to the world of wine or have a  cellar consisting of thousands of bottles, The Wine Alley’s personalized service will assist you in finding just the right selection. 

Are you looking for a special bottle of wine that you just can't find? Just ask us.  We provide special orders services with no minimums.  You can email, call (425-271-4501) or come to the store to inquire about the availability of the wine for which you are looking. If it is available, we can usually get the wine in 3-5 days with complimentary delivery throughout the Greater Seattle area.
